ABB to add 403 jobs in Mebane, invest $39.9M; state kicks in $4.3

Orange County’s Economic Development Department serves to diversify the local economy by assisting in the growth, retention, and recruitment of desirable and environmentally clean businesses that pay at or above a living wage and offer benefits, and which are involved in a variety of retail businesses, light industrial manufacturing, logistics distribution, and mixed use commercial office development, and promote the redevelopment and/or expansion of existing facilities.
